well, im board and need something to do. so im putting out there on all small forums for truck parts for me to do...i dont use Zmod i use a program called Blender 3d, but i can easily export to Zmod so it's no problem, i am willing to do any part of any size, im just not quite good enough to make a whole truck yet so i want practice, for small items i am very competent and will upload some pics of my work ASAP

if anybody here wants a part just post it here with pics or a good description of it...been around trucks so most parts i doo know


just make sure you put The Scoot in teh credits, if the truck is going to be locked or for AF only i will be sure to delete the part i made once givin to teh receiver

i will try to work on em as fast as i can...i have nothing to do anyways lol

well here it is, i see i can only add 3 pics at a time.....ill keep that in mind



anyways here are the "betas" if you see anything you wanna change just tell me and i will, they are pretty low poly now, but i still have to go though and optimize it even more..when im done il export it as a .obj import it into Zmod then save it as a .Z3d for you


ALSO keep in mind the reason why it looks so rough is because i have the view port configured to "set solid" when i set it to "set smooth" you wont see the edges

when i have the Ok i will add a bit more detail

That loooks exatcly like the Argosy bar nice work mate. Also for the pics if you upload them to Imageshake and use the forum [IMG] options you can add more

awesome, ill warn you when i import to Zmod it decimates it automatically so expect plenty of tri's...and i have NOOOOOO clue on Zmod ((only how to import and export lol)) so i cant even look on it or tell if its in scale....but ill send teh file to you ((how do you want it...i have you on my Xfire...or i can just uplaod it here))

ok well i figured why my tri's were visible, i have to go into object properties and turn on flat shading...ANYWAYS

heres some pics f it rendered in Zmod

i just finished post clean up in blender ((i get rid of useless polys edges and faces))


so if they are ok right now they are ready to go ingame

on teh mudflap i made teh bottom thicker for either xhrome bottoms or rubber bottoms like tehy have on all mud flaps, on the rack i included the pins that attach to frame, but delete em if you dont want em...annnd thats pretty much it, any cocnerns just post it here or PM me

...strobes or load bar rack on back of sleeper ((with loadbars))....orrrr..... *thinks* u wouldn't need a chain rack.... satellite probe?....bumper gaurds or new bumber?...i could try to make a new bullbar, it would just take me longer....ummm spot lights for teh mirrors...godd never thought it be this hard to think of ideas to put on truck
